The GMM MFF has approved the adjusted provisional release schedule for the topic TS055 ‘API’s Aansluitings- en storingsinformatie’ (‘API’s Connection and Failure Information’). According to schedule, the message specifications will be presented to the GMM of 25 September 2024 for approval. Based on this finding, the go live will be no later than 1 January 2025.
Suppliers and other service providers (ODA’s) can view metering data from small-scale consumption connections from smart metering devices via Portal P4. Sometimes this measurement data is not available, for example due to malfunctions or missing or expired customer mandates from ODA’s.
Extra service for suppliers and ODA’s
With the API’s, suppliers and ODA’s can see why measurement data is missing. It will also become clear whether there is a long-term malfunction and what the reason for this malfunction is. If there is a terminated customer mandate for ODA’s, it will be stated why this customer mandate has been terminated. This information is already available via a webGUI. The API’s allow suppliers and ODA’s to automate processes that need this information. The API’s are intended as an additional service that suppliers and ODA’s do not have to use.
Release by 1 January 2025
The implementation of the API’s does not require a User Acceptance Test (GAT), market readiness, or transition period. Once the new interfaces are ready, they will be made available to the market on the release date. As a market party, you can then start using them on a date of your choice, after qualification. EDSN and the distribution system operators will still determine the release date. It has been agreed that the latest release date is 1 January 2025. The release date will be communicated by EDSN in a timely manner.
The updated preliminary release schedule can be found on mijnMFFBAS. Go to: ‘Release’, ‘TS055/TS056: 2 API’s Meetketen’.
