In the reconciliation process, TenneT calculates and publishes the reconciliation prices on www.tennet.eu on a monthly basis. But the prices are also available through API’s.
Within MFF, we have agreed that TenneT will make the reconciliation prices available via an MFF-style API. You can now test this new API on the TenneT TestAPI environment. The test API returns fictitious data and is intended for technical testing. In order to gain insight into more realistic price data, TenneT will publish the results of a parallel calculation of reconciliation prices on MyTenneT at the end of November. This calculation is based on production data for October.
TenneT-style API’s
TenneT has been offering API’s in its own API style for some time now. The publication of volumes on which the reconciliation price calculation is based will continue to be available in this TenneT style. As a service to the market, TenneT will also offer the reconciliation prices in the TenneT style after the Tranche 3 goes live.
Manual to test
You can choose whether you want to use the TenneT or MFF variant. They both offer the exact same data. The custom TenneT-style reconciliation price API’s are also available on the TestAPI environment. Therefore, pay attention to which manual you use when connecting to these API’s. The manuals and API specs can be found on MyTenneT, in the Onboarding & IT app, by filtering on the IT system ‘API Gateway’.
