The BAS Messaging team has detected an error in the business service ‘Exchange reconciliation results electricity’. The meaning of negative and positive volumes and amounts is not (always) correctly expressed. This can influence the interpretation: what does the balance responsible party have to pay or what does it get back? This has been rectified with a Request for Change (RFC).
The Portfolio Steering Committee has already approved RFC-016-A2.0-TR3 ‘Tekenconventie in reconciliatieresultaten’ (‘Drawing convention in reconciliation results’). The RFC ensures that the explanations of positive and negative volumes and amounts in the relevant business service are in line with the Market and Sub-Processes (MSP) Wholesale Electricity.
Other changes to the business service
Because the business service had to be changed because of the RFC, 2 checks are added at the same time. These checks are part of the business service ‘Exchange of collective settlement request’, but were mistakenly never included in the business service ‘Exchange reconciliation results electricity’. These are the following checks:
- Does the amount have a correct number of decimals?
- Does the price have a correct number of decimals?
Also, a recently discovered error in the business service about the naming of ‘RNB’ (‘DSO’) vs. ‘NB’ (‘SO’) has been fixed.
The RFC and the business service can be found on mijnMFFBAS. Go to: ‘Release’, ‘Tranche 3 A2.0‘.
