As of 1 March 2025, Essent will be the third supplier to provide measurement data for the dynamic profiles. The User Profiles Platform decided on this accession on 14 February. The aim is to further improve the quality of the allocation.
For a number of specific network areas, the national dynamic profile was previously used as standard. It is expected that this will be less necessary now that Essent is entering as a supplier of aggregated measurement data. In addition, there was a chance that 2 suppliers were unable to provide data, although this has not happened since the introduction on 1 April 2023. If in such a case a third large supplier such as Essent does provide data, there is no need to fall back on the static profile.
Better data quality
Essent’s data will be added as of 1 March 2025. Little will change for buyers of profile fractions. However, you will be able to see an improvement in the quality of the data in a number of network areas, because national figures need to be used less often.
