Release schedules of 3 topics established

BAS has made a proposal for a release schedule for 3 identified topics. This proposal was discussed in the Integral Implementation Management Consultation (IISO), the Integral Planning Consultation (IPPO), the Portfolio Steering Committee (PFSG) and finally established in the GMM MFF of Tuesday 6 November.

The established release schedules apply to the following topics:

  • TS013 ‘Vertaalslag van meetgegevens naar allocatiepunt(en) en/of overdrachtspunt(en)’ (‘Translation of measurement data to allocation point(s) and/or transfer point(s)’)
This topic describes how and which calculation rules should be applied for different technical situations.

    • Established release date: no later than 1 July 2026
  •  TS016 ‘Actieve communicatie EAN-code van de GCvO-installatie’ (‘Active communication EAN code of the GCvO installation’)
In this topic, it has been elaborated that the system operator informs both the connected party and the metering responsible party when issuing an EAN code for a GCvO installation. This is an electricity generating installation or a demarcated part thereof for which the criteria of the ‘Regulation on guarantees of origin and certificates of origin’ apply.

    • Established release date: no later than 1 January 2025
  • TS057 ‘Informatie-uitwisseling calorische waarden gasinvoeders’ (‘Information exchange calorific values gas feeders’)
This topic describes the solution in which metering responsible parties make the calorific values available to the system operator via a different channel (than the current channel: the Exchange Services Portal (PUD)). The topic describes a release-dependent implementation strategy. In this case, the metering responsible parties can switch to the new channel within a dual period.

    • Established release dates:
      • T1 (start of implementation): 25 September 2024
      • Final decision on the start of the dual period*: 1 July 2025
      • Start dual period (go live): 1 October 2025
      • End of dual period: 31 December 2025

* According to the distribution system operators, a start of the dual period on 1 October 2025 seems feasible for the time being. By 1 July 2025 at the latest, they will indicate whether a start of the dual period on 1 October 2025 is definitively possible. If not, the dual period is expected to start on 1 January 2026 at the latest.

Through this newsletter we will keep you informed of the progress of these releases.
