For Tranche 3, the Portfolio Steering Committee (PFSG) has established a Request for Change (RFC) for issue IC279 ‘Settlement Prijzen’ (‘Settlement Prices’). These are RFC-023-A2.0-TR3 IC279 ‘Aanpassing formule reconciliatieprijs per OVP’ (‘Adjustment formula reconciliation price per OVP’).
While deploying issue IC279, an error emerged. In the issue and in the subsequent RFC’s and the code change proposal, there appeared to be an omission in the formula for the reconciliation price per imbalance settlement period (OVP). As a result, the ratio intended in the issue is not correctly displayed.
Solution to the identified problem
By making it clear in the denominator that both the activated upsizing volume per OVP and the activated downsizing volume per OVP must be included as absolute values, we prevent that at any time the denominator can have a value of zero or that the value becomes so small that an undesirably high reconciliation price arises.
The various teams will work to incorporate this RFC-023 into regulations and sector documentation as soon as possible.
