On 1 January 2025, Tranche 3 went functionally live. This means that the amended market agreements from Tranche 3 have come into force. For a number of the topics in scope, the new or changed information exchange has not yet started, in accordance with market agreements. In addition, the transition agreements are still ongoing. These were made to enable the transition from the old to the new market agreements.
Because we received several questions from market parties about the different timelines, we give an overview of the first timelines of the new processes of the various topics below. Please note: during Tranche 3, the term ‘settlement prices’ has been changed to ‘reconciliation prices’.
- IC011B ‘Verrekenen Allocatiefouten individueel gealloceerde aansluitingen’ (‘Settlement of allocation errors for individually allocated connections’): no later than Friday 7 February, the distribution system operators will send the final settlement from the IC011B process to the balance responsible parties. This concerns the trial month 12.2024.
- TS031(IC279) ‘Settlement prijzen’ (‘Settlement prices’): an update on TS031 can be found in this news item.
- TS032(IC257) ‘Settlement GV Telemetrie Elektriciteit’ (‘Settlement GV Telemetry Electricity’) and TS034(IC275) ‘Settlement SMA’: no later than Monday 10 March, the distribution system operators will make the determined volumes for the provisional reconciliation of the reconciliation month 01.2025 available to TenneT and the balance responsible parties. They do this through the Market-Market-Communication Hub (MMC-hub).
- TS035(IC252) ‘Verrekenproces Meetfouten GV’ (‘Settlement Process Measurement Errors GV’): no later than Friday 28 February, the system operators will make the collective settlement requests (VVVs) relating to the process month 01.2025 available to the suppliers. They do this through the Message Exchange Service (MES). In the trial month 01.2025, as a result of the transition measures, the number of cases to be settled for the reconciliation of electricity connections will be higher than in the following trial months.
- TS044(IC285) ‘Reclamatieproces maandmeetgegevens, volumes voor reconciliatie en reconciliatieresultaten TMT en SMA’ (‘Complaint process monthly metering data, volumes for reconciliation and reconciliation results TMT and SMA’): from Tuesday 18 February, the distribution system operators will start sending complaints to the metering responsible parties.
- Aanpassing Kassabon Reconciliatie Elektra (Adjustment of the Electricity Reconciliation Receipt): the amended receipt for the electricity reconciliation process will be issued for the first time on Friday 14 February to the balance responsible parties.
