On 3 July 2024, the Platform Consumption Profiles adopted the natural gas forecast profiles 2026-2030. For the 2028 gas profiles, there appeared to be a bug. That is why an update has been adopted and published on the MFFBAS website.
The suppliers use forecast profiles to make estimates up to the time when the relevant default profiles are available. For the 2028 gas profiles, there appeared to be a bug in determining the profile in the leap year. By inserting the standard profile temperature (SPT) of the leap day, all subsequent SPT’s shifted and no longer fit into the profile. Therefore, an update of the forecast profiles was needed. On 18 December 2024, the Platform Consumption Profiles adopted this update (version P1.10), as a result of which version P1.00 has been cancelled.
The update of the forecast profiles can be found on the MFFBAS website, page Sector documents.
